Is it free to use?
TraceLookup is a subscription service, not a free tool. You can start with a 7-day Pro trial for $3.99. If you cancel within the trial, no further charge is made. If you keep using it, the plan continues at $29.99 every 4 weeks (a 28-day billing cycle). The exact price is shown before you confirm.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Cancel anytime by contacting our support team. Use the cancellation page, which opens a prefilled cancellation request, or email support@trace-lookup.com directly. We stop your renewal and you keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
What are acceptable uses, and what is not allowed?
Use TraceLookup for personal, lawful checks: screening an unknown caller, vetting a buyer or seller before a marketplace deal, or confirming a contact detail before you trust it. Its signals come from libphonenumber metadata and our lookup partner. It is not a surveillance tool, so never use it to follow, intimidate, or keep tabs on someone without their knowledge, and note that it never exposes a live location, GPS, device activity, or private messages. TraceLookup is also not a consumer reporting agency, and its reports are not "consumer reports" under the FCRA, so they cannot inform decisions about employment, housing, tenancy, credit, or insurance.
What can I find with a reverse phone lookup?
A phone lookup returns the verifiable signals we can source for a number: format validity, line type (mobile, landline, or VoIP), carrier, region, reachability, and spam or risk flags where available. Where public records list an owner, the report can also show a registered name and address. It does not return criminal records or private messages, and it is never a real-time location.
What about an email lookup?
An email lookup checks deliverability and mailbox state: whether the address is valid and can receive mail, and whether it shows disposable or high-risk signals. It does not reveal a person's private accounts or messages.
How accurate is the information?
Accuracy and coverage vary by number, address, and source, and may not be fully up to date. Data is compiled from public metadata and our lookup partner, refreshed periodically rather than in real time. Treat results as a starting point for your own due diligence.
Is this search confidential?
Yes. Your searches are private and we do not notify the owner of a number or email that you ran a lookup.
