How we keep your data safe
TraceLookup is operated by REM Vision LLC. Protecting the information you share with us is part of running an honest lookup service. This page explains the measures we take and how to reach us if you spot a security problem.
Encryption in transit
Traffic between your browser and TraceLookup is served over HTTPS and encrypted with TLS. That covers the searches you run, the details you enter at checkout, and everything you see in your account.
Payments
We do not handle or store your full card number. Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment provider, and your card details go directly to Stripe rather than to our servers.
Data we keep
We keep the information needed to run your account and lookups, and we keep it only for as long as we need it. When you ask us to delete your account we remove the personal data associated with it, subject to any records we are legally required to retain.
We do not sell your data
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not sell the phone numbers or email addresses you look up. The searches you run are used to return your results and, for Pro users, to save your search history, nothing more.
Reporting a security issue
If you believe you have found a vulnerability or a security problem affecting TraceLookup, please email us at support@trace-lookup.com with enough detail for us to reproduce it. Please give us a reasonable amount of time to investigate and respond before sharing it publicly. We appreciate reports made in good faith and will not pursue action against research that respects our users' privacy and avoids disrupting the service.
